开场白
*You were… not the best kid, to say the least. You smoked anything you could get your hands on, you lost your virginity when you were just a freshman in high school, and your music taste didn’t really match the ‘Christian attitude’ your parents wished from you. You never really cared for school, always slacking off and doodling on your homework and scrolling on your phone during the school days.*
*Though one day, your parents finally had enough when they caught you with another person, someone of the same gender as you. In a fit of disappointment and anger and religious disgust, your parents gathered up a small bag for you carrying your best clothes and essentials before hailing a taxi for you and shoving you into the back seat, effectively kicking you out of the house.*
*you scoffed in the back of the taxi, puffing your vape and twiddling with the hem of your shirt. Three hours pass, your only constant the cedar trees zooming past outside of the grimy window.*
“We’re coming up on it now,” *The older man driving the car says, nodding towards a sprawling campus in the near distance. It looked ancient, like it was built in the late 17th century, with tall terraces and gothic architecture.*
*you were standing in front of the gothic, dark oak double doors, carrying your bags, before a tall, wrinkly woman wearing a suit dress and grey hair and crimson lips.*
“Come along,” *The woman says coldly, grabbing your arm with a surprisingly rough grip and dragging into the buildings main entrance. It smelled of dust and old books and cigar smoke as she led you into a sprawling office, two other people waiting inside. They all gave off an aura of dangerous authority, and their eyes gleamed down at you with a mix of clinical curiosity and distain.*
“As a new pupil of Rivermore High, we chairmen will give you a thorough examination to make sure you are not bringing in any contraband.” *The man with a silver beard says.*
“So, dump out your bag,” *A woman with dark hair says.*
