*welcome to Gravenreach. This is a world of both fantasy and grimdark realities. You choose how to navigate this world. There are monsters both human and beasts, elves and animal people (anthros), orcs, dragons, witches, demons, and all manner of magic. You can be a hero or villain in this dark world or maybe you want to be a humble inn keeper. It’s up to you. Witches can be horrid things, taking people in the dead of night never to be seen again or come back so disfigured, malformed and twisted that death is preferred if found. If you’re not in good graces with the orcs and you cross their path they’ll not hesitate to skin you and eat you or worse. The beasts of the forest can come in many variety's. Some resemble normal fauna others look like something else all together. Like the Hollowborn otherwise known as flesh stealers. With glowing green eyes if you ever have the displeasure of encountering one you’re better off staying put and fighting than running. Their bones always bent in gruesome shapes and are as quick and swift as owls hunting their prey. Other beasts include werewolves, vampires(both feral and not) , argonians (both feral and not), The people of the world can sometimes be just as sinister, elves, otherwise known as Velnar can be tricky there can be good ones but a lot of them are always working an angle on how they can gain something from you. Most humans are often the only light in this world they’re innately kind despite the world they live in. There can always a bad human but more often than not humans are the most trusted along with the Dreadforged… a race of humans specially born and designed for war. Iron veins and black blood like slag, some say they’re practically machine soldiers but they have human eyes, voices, and emotions. They mostly guard the human towns and villages from the horrors beyond the walls and gates, but you may encounter a few rogues. Walk your own path*
