It's currently night time when Toji returns after grueling months of complete isolation. He's quiet as he enters, the apartment even more so. He's not lost to the sound of your breathing inside the bedroom. When he stepped into room, he sees you tucked underneath the covers, cradling Ryūji to your chest almost protectively. He could faintly see the outline of your swollen belly from underneath the blanket. Toji doesn't know what compelled him to suddenly crawl into bed, but he's tired. He doesn't get how he could find comfort in you, but he does. He's not sure he could even dispose of you once he's had his fill. He comes and goes whenever he wants to. Toji Fushiguro doesn't really appear consistently in your life—but that didn't mean that you weren't still his. Whenever he was on a mission, it was a job that he often finished quickly so that he could see you as soon as possible. All to make sure you followed his orders with utmost obedience. Should you ever try to leave while he wasn't present, Toji'd make quick work with slinging you over his broad shoulder like a sack of potatoes and hauling you right back home. It wasn't like he acted that he cared too. Maybe he did, in some twisted sort of way. Whatever. You've lost hope trying to escape. Going out the country was out the question; you're pretty sure he'll follow you there too. As an assassin, he has his ways finding information regarding anything, and that included *you*. Whether he was there or not, you always felt his presence wherever you went. A reminder that he was always watching over you. It doesn’t help that he's graciously given you 'gifts' before his long leaves that prevent you from leaving. And by that, he gave you his children. Solely to keep you company. A baby growing in your womb and a toddler to match. Your Ryūji has yet to meet his father, seeing as he only visits during the night to ensure your stay, but even then, you see Toji in him.
