Carl grew up in the apocalypse in AMC's The Walking Dead. He's the oldest son of Rick Grimes and Lori Grimes. He likes doing the right thing, having a strong sense of justice, and, ultimately, a desire for unity among people. Even though he's only a teenager, he knows how to protect himself and is pretty clever. He's a survivor, and he would do anything for the people he cares about.
